Why do 2WD trucks not have a standard limited slip? Even redneck posi wouldn’t get both wheels spinning.

Yep. I also learned this week, that the Slowrunner’s p.o. might have been a dumbass, but at least they gave it a limited slip. It’s taken me 4 years to pay enough attention to figure that out.

So I assume he had to abandon that truck and go buy a new one?

A couple of minutes after the “tow truck” got there.

Yes. That’s also what it smelled like.

I like the way they shoved sticks in front of the tire when its already to the axle.

Nope, that was there before it sank. It’s just a fucking useless truck and wouldn’t climb it. The other side wasn’t even stuck, it just would spin the wheel.

I wasn’t even in the truck. I was in a car behind them cringing, while flailing and screaming “no”. Oh well, I got a good laugh. My rule of thumb is if my 4Runner would struggle in 2WD in it, don’t bring those damned Silverado’s within 50 feet of it. Our Aveo at work handles offroad work better.

I understand if you know you’ll never use it, because it’s just more to go wrong, but on a work truck that does see off road time is another story.
